Tideline Bangle
The relatively new technique of fold-forming, in which metal is folded, forged and then opened up again, has been used to create this 3 cm (1.25 inch) wide sterling silver cuff.
It was inspired by a walk along a beach’s tideline, and has been further hammered to represent the marks in the sand left as the tide recedes. It also features a couple of sea-beaten sterling silver ‘pebbles’, and fits a medium wrist.
Like all of my products, this is a one-off piece, and has been hallmarked with my registered maker’s mark at the Birmingham Assay Office.
